Hi
I'm just recive Nikkor lens 85 mm f/2 in LTM from RFF members.
The lens is nice but i've some problem.
I try to screw a 55 mm filter on these lens but i cannot, so do i want a spacial thread 55 mm filters. or it can use only nikkor filters?
Thanks

Mine takes a 48mm filter.

Like Joseph said. Or if it has the two-piece hood, use Series VII or 49mm filters.

As stated, the lens takes a 48mm filter. It uses a 0.5 thread pitch, but Hoya filters will screw on the lens. If you are into protecting your lenses with UV filters, the high-end B+W multi-resistent coating UV filter part no. 66023186 also fits. It squeaks as it goes on, but it goes on all the way (and comes off too).

I have screwed standard 48mm filters into mine without trouble.

It may be a tolerance thing, although Nikon QC is supposed to be extremely good - I understand there are very few poor samples of this lens. I look at the thread on mine, and it doesn't look like the 0.5 thread pitch on my 50mm Summilux that's for sure. But it is good to hear regular filters will screw into the lens, as I've only tried two UV filters on mine.

I use a 48mm to 52mm adaptor, and then it will take 52mm accessories.
