Leica LTM Filters: S & W brand ?

I bought a 39mm UV filter on E-Bay, and received a nice (?) filter in a plastic clamshell labeled: S&W Photo, Boise, ID; San Francisco, CA.

It was not expensive, and seems like it has decent optical quality...


Anybody have any experience with their other filters ?

I have a CP from them for one of my Nikon lenses. It works as it should, so I am happy with it. Besides, it's sturdy and strong enough. I took mine to Costa Rica recently.

I have some S&W filters. They seem okay, but watch for one thing. Some lens hoods fit closely over the filter without screwing into it. My hoods for the 50mm Summicron and the 35mm CV classic won't fit over a 39mm S&W filter--the filter is too large in diameter.
