This weekend here in Florida was like an absolute paradise.. I had off on Sunday. So, I loaded the Leica up with B+W c41 to try out my new (old prewar uncoated 90mm F4 elmar) and also my new viewfinder.

I love the lens ands I really love the viewfinder. It is going to take me a while to get use to it. I have a yellow filter on right now to protect the lens..
I did not think about compensating exposer to the length of the lens.. came out a little thin but not bad, live and learn. I did shoot a roll of Tri-X also that I will develop today....

One thing I was surprised about is this lens does not seem to have the Bokeh as my uncoated 50mm Summar.. but once I play with the different stops I am sure there is a sweet spot.

I do like your pics, Skinny! There's a classic kind of relaxed subtropical atmosphere... I don't see anything unpleasant about the bokeh. Indeed there's an over-all softness that may be due to the lens, and if so it sure works with these subjects! Wide aperture?

No need to compensate exposure for focal length, since f/stops do that for you by representing "relative aperture". So f/8 on one lens is the same as f/8 on any other lens. But certainly the filter needs some exposure compensation for the reduction in light transmission.
