Finally some pictures to show

Way back in March we had a discussion about playgrounds as a monthly theme. Well, I loaded my HiMatic 7s with some color print film then and finally finished the roll last week. Nothing like taking 2 months to shot a roll of film. Had them processed and put onto a CD at the local WalMart. That's the best I can do, don't own a scanner but did buy a new computer (that's a whole nother story). The 4x6 prints are sharp. This Minolta has a great lens. Can't wait to try out the 7sII one of these days. So, with out further adeiu, here's the first of 3.

Really a nice sequence, Brian! Don't say adieu quite yet, I for one would like to see some more. :) I like the clean designs of the bright tubing against the plain backgrounds... I'm inspired to go looking at playgrounds too!

Thanks all for the input. Maybe it won't take me 2 months to shoot the next roll of film. Here's a variation of picture #2.

I'd personally not crop so much off the top as to actually cut the subject, and I'd prefer a colour balance between the first and second version. I must say though : "What the hell do I know?" and that it is an excellent shot - better I think than any I have ever taken!

Thanks David. The hardest thing to get used to with a rangefinder is using the frame lines in the viewfinder, especially the top one. It seems to fade in and out, or maybe its my eyes. With version 2, I was conscious of anchoring the bottom left corner with the rail and keeping the rails on the right side in the proper position that I might not have paid as much attention to the top as I should have. Again, thanks.
