i think i'm gettin' outta the funk i've been in.
i just souped 5 rolls of film and have a few left from my trip to new york.
also want to soup the mat roll so i know if the damn thing works or not.
then it goes on sale, hood filter and all.
the negs looks good so far, lots of meat on them.
except for the unexposed roll i put in one of the tanks.

Hi Joe,
I'd be happy with a trip to New York, even without a camera! Cheer up about the unexposed roll. I've poured in fixer instead of developer. Ouch! By the way, what's a mat?

Yup, got the first dev and the colour dev mixed up when doing a roll of Velvia a while back, trashed the film and the chemistry. Easily done. The first total loss in many many films.

Processing and scanning are good things to "keep you in the game" when you are not shooting. I scanned a few rolls last weekend which made me feel good about doing something photography related.

This is why I bought a superpack of sharpies, and every jacket and camera bag I have has 2 sharpies. If it ain't marked, it don't get developed (that, and I also don't leave the leader out. I have a curious four year old who wanted to see what the film inside the canister looked like once.
Good point about the Sharpies.
I do my TO impression after every roll indicating the film speed at which I shot the finished roll. This is of course because even though I seem to always use Diafine and shoot appropriately, lord knows that someday I will forget and of course second guess myself into a panic.

OK, you've had plenty of time to shoot and process. Where are the photos?

still hanging from their clips.
need to cut and start scanning.
but it's fall and we are promised sunshine and fair temps and that takes precedence.
winter and snow and -40 coming soon, lots of time for scanning then.

Whatever you do, avoid Ingmar Bergman movies.
