I'd like to get an auxiliary 50mm finder for my Vitessa without spending too much. 😀

Any suggestions?

TIA!/ScottGee1

The CV 50 brightline finder is worth the money. More so if you can find someone who's willing to sell you their used one. (Not me!) Good luck!

Scott:

I HAD one (CV) that I used often on my 50s till I lost it about a month ago. It was great, but I gotta figure out some way to keep the next one from falling off several different cameras. Like Frank says it's doubtful anyone will sell you a used one. They're about $130 here--that must be about 90% profit--they're way overpriced, but the only game in town.

The CV 50 finder is a gem indeed, but you need to be forewarned that its 1:1 magnification makes for very little eye relief. You'll have to have your eyeball almost against the glass to oversee the full frame. It's not ideal if you're more comfortable with finders further removed from the eye.. for instance if you wear spectacles..
