my first roll (and last one) from Zeiss Ikonta 523/16 Opton Tessar 75mm f3.5 T coated. I let it go for a nice Perkeo IIIe (523/16 don't have RF), eventhough the Opton optic really sharp wide open. all are from kodak ektacolor iso160, scanned with HP G4050 scanner as DNG, 2400dpi 24bit,(around 50MegPix output) and convert to BW thru vuescan.
seeing the result, I'm impressed with Opton Tessar, but something I don't like is that I can see strong swirl background which I believe a tessar character. I paid premium for this lens only, i believe it will shine more in folder with coupled RF
compared to Color Skopar 80mm f3.5 coated (perkeo iiie), the Opton tessar shows more sharpness and contrast, but as well more swirl background when use wide open. just imo.
