Took the M3 I'm borrowing out for a walk yesterday. Here are some of my favorite results from the roll I exposed.

FWIW, I think I've found what I've been trying to acheive (Technically) for years from a 35mm system. Thats enough to justify the price tag right?

Each image is linked to its Flickr page, in case you want a larger version to view.

35mm f/2.8 Goggled Summaron

50mm f/1.4 Summilux

Beautiful work - I expecially enjoy the snow juxtaposed against the toys of summer and the vines on the fence (the horizontal shot). Nature overcoming.

Enjoying an M3 is enough to justify getting one- but you also have the skills to use it! Go for it.

Good stuff!

How do you get that beautiful border on your photos? Some PS trick/Action?

Triangular metal file, and about an hour of work of hacking at the negative carrier in my garage.
