I got up early this Sunday morning and did a bunch of stuff, so in the afternoon I was going to take it easy, and laid down on the couch. At this time I heard a neighbour starting up his motorcycle for the first time this year and it got my juices flowing. It's been above 0 C the last several days and I had hooked up a battery tender just a few days ago so the battery was fully charged. I didn't even flush out the float bowls and refill with fresh gas this time. Just cranked a while and it eventually started. Went for a bit of a ride. Nice and smooth, carbs still balanced. It feels great to be riding while there is still some snow at the sides of the road!

A couple of weeks ago I took my first ride too, but there were only two or three days of warm sunny weather, and besides, Frances had a bad back, so it went back in the garage. Now it's sunny and (reasonably) warm, about 21C/70F, with the same forecast for a few days, and she's enough better that she's out gardening. Maybe tomorrow...

Hey, Roger...
Time spent on a motorcycle is not deducted from your days on earth, or was that line about eating pizza?
Anyway, hope you and Frances can get your knees in the wind for a long ride. Sounds like beautiful weather for you!
