First photos / 50/2 Heliar / R3M Set

Took these in the town square park, ..these are scans from prints.. overcast to bright sunlight and in deep shadows..no great takes but wanted to post some results..the lens seems very sharp as in the memorial image taken at about 10-12' and with the background writings on the buildings and signs...Taken with Kodak 400HD

Sharp, yes, how about some shots that show the other performance characteristics of this lens? Is this Heliar anything like the 75? I don't know anything about lens architecture, but I love the 75mm and would be pleased to find that this 50mm heliar has comparable out of focus beauty.

Here's one that should show OOF very well Shutterflower, foreground-sharp, background-blurred...And yes S.L. I love the feel of the camera, a very nice, neat, small, compact package...
