I'd have to agree that the Samsung won the indoor round, and may very well change my dislike of indoor flash photography using point & shoot cameras, the flash performed brilliantly. Portrait mode and fill flash worked well, as did spot metering.nice explanation

I think the LMZ performed very well on ambient light pics, although a couple could have benefited from use of a tripod. And the little Leica loved the sunshine.
I didn't take any outdoor shots on this roll with the ECX1, the second (unfinished) roll has a few, but I have no doubts that it will perform equally as well as it did inside. I think that this camera is a keeper.
Now I need to buy some pants with much, much bigger pockets.
