Hi all...here's a first post using Oly XA with neopan 400.
I just bought this little thing, and still trying to learn and get use to it.
it's small alright...and sure is nice to bring along all the time.
Here's 2 shots of a friend's husband and his little kids.

those are great XA shots.

the best thing about the XA, after the size and the quality, is the +1.5 backlight exposure switch. i wonder what it could have done to your second shot - do you remember what you were shooting at (speed, f-stop)?

ha ha...i totally forgot abt that +1.5 backlight exposure switch...i took the scence 3 to 4 times without the switch turned on!...and all looked the same...all shot at abt f2.8 (I think), and i cant tell the speed the shutter fired, cos i cant remember that part. :)

I picked up an XA kit (camera and flash) at last weekends's Sydney camera market for $45 Aussie Dollars. About $32 USD. Can't wait to put the first roll through it...

Great cameras...all in the XA series will do excellent work. Please remember, I have pre-cut light seal kits for those. These are not sold on E-Bay, but just by word of mouth. Years of re-sealing these has taught me the 1mm fabric seal is the premier seal material to use in the first series, but I also cut them in 1mm foam. $6 each, free ship in America, 60 cents to Canada & Mexico, 80 cents to any other country in the world. Just e:mail me with XA Light Seals in the title window.
