Here are some images from the first roll of my Fed 2 and Industar-61. It was shot on last Saturday, a sunny day, in a nearby park. A little light leakage is observed at the edge of some frames. So I have to do more work on the camera. 😱

But the images are better than I have expected. 😉

Isn't this camera amazing? I just got mine and ran a testroll through also.
I would have been glad if the images are just barely recognizable, but the results are clear, sharp, and contrasty.

I think your problem here is flare, not light leaks. But I could be wrong.

Nice pics and congratulations on the Fed ... they are such an underrated camera ... but not by us! 😀

The Fed 2 and an Industar 61 is a great combo. I do see flare in #3. If it's white, it's coming through the lens side. If it's orange-red, it's coming from the back of the camera. The upper right corner of #2 has a blue bit that I can't identify, maybe it's just something in the foreground? Nice pictures, sharp and good contrast and good composition. You might want to consider picking up an external 50mm viewfinder for easier framing, especially if you wear glasses (like me).

Thank you for your kind comments! 🙂

It's the first time I use an un-metered camera, so I have to use a digicam to help me do the metering. Some frames seem over or under exposed by my faulty setting. The film is Kodak EB-3.

As to the light leakage, they are shown at the edge of the film, around the holes. I can't see them in the frame but I think I'd better get rid of them. It may be caused by the new base plate I changed for it. 😱

Anyway, I think it is a good beginning.

Thanks again! 🙂

I think its flare, mine did exactly the same a while back, discovered that the edge of the frame in front of the shutter curtains had a bright spot, touched it in VERY CAREFULLY with a marker pen. Hasn't happened again.
