I've got myself a working GTN ( save for a slighly sticky shutter, which might in itself signal that i have to get the PoD replaced soon. ), the camera works like a charm. (the metering system is almost perfect! )
Here are a few shots. (and hello everyone, im new here! )

Welcome. Good pictures, though you might want to be careful about bright areas or lights fooling the meter.

Thanks guys!
Unfortunately, i just found out from a local technician today that my shutter is actually on the verge of death! And the lens is fungus-ed.
He said that there was no point in repairing it because it would just be too costly, but what the heck, my half working Yashica seems to churn out pictures that look nice enough until i save enough to get a Bessa R3a + Nokton 40mm 1.4!

The lens unit is easy to clean if you're reasonably handy. The P.O.D. is a little trickier.
I cleaned my lens unit and thankfully the fungus had not etched the coatings. Without knowing which camera took the pics, my wife was very impressed with the results, even more so when she found out it only cost me £2
