I've been perusing this forum for a few months now, grabbing useful bits of info on scanning and developing film. I'm appreciative of how helpful you all are.
Last weekend I finally developed a roll- and it turned out okay. A roll blown especially with the idea that it would be the first.

For anyone hesitating at this point- jump in! The water's fine, even at a chilly 68F :D
What everyone says is true- it's magical, inspiring, and highly addictive!

As tempting as it is, you just can't be in a hurry... so far, so good. Except for the flattening part (please excuse the Newton rings  ).

1st roll: Acros, D76 1:1, just under 10 min.

2nd roll: FP4+, D76 1:1, 10.5"

Nice shot from the Acros!

I think I enjoy developing film as much as shooting it. Inspecting the images as you pull the reel from the dev tank is a wonderful experience and hugely more satisfying than plugging a compact flash card into the computer :)
There are so many film and developer combinations available I'm going to have to shoot loads of rolls just to try them out - ah well........

Hey, you're not supposed to drink the stuff! :)
Nice work, and enthusiasm.
Oh no? No Photo-flo chaser, either? :D

Nick, that's the moment- opening the can and peering in there for images- Wow!

Got a roll of 120 lined up for today... and lots more Acros 35... perfect timing for a 3-day weekend!

Thanks! :)
