The Peaceful Pacific
Hi all,
Here's 3 pix from my first roll in the new Bessa T.
For all pix, it's the Summaron 35/2.8 on Superior 200.
PHOTOS:
- Isuzu grill: 1/250, f5.6
- Escalator at mall: 1/30, f2.8
- VW Beetle: 1/125, f4
Except for a bit of brightening of the mall escalator shot, there's
no post processing here.
CONCLUSIONS:
I bought the Bessa T as an economical, 2nd M body. There IS something of
a trade off here. I love the meter readout outside, at the rear of the top deck
near the round RF window. Having a built-in diopter adjustment on the RF
is wonderful. And, I like the sound of the shutter.
What I don't get is a VF. I'm using a Helios universal viewer; it looks like _o_ .
The CV 25/4 has its own dedicated viewer. My next lens will be a J8 50/2, and eventually, I'll get a better VF. Further, when the prices come down some,
I would consider a Bessa R or R2 [used].
Ciao, mike
