A funny thing happened on the way to the garden.....

I took the screw-on lens hood I'd bought for me 35mm, and sorta thought it'd be wide enough for the 21. Ummmmm......no. Produced some pretty interesting images, though. I like the characteristics of the lens...pretty contrasty, decent mid-tones, too. These are cropped.

The OTHER variable is how I've been developing the film. It's Arista 100 EDU Ultra, and this time, I used Rodinal 1:100 for 7 minutes at 68 degrees, agitation by inversion once each minute. I'm pretty happy with the grain structure with this development routine, and will probably stick with it for a while.

Anybody know if "Heavystar" sells a screw-in hood to fit the 21?

Here's a couple samples.....The first shot is a Hosta shot with my 50/1.8 Canon lens, other two with the 21.

Regards!
Don
