Hey all - I just replaced the seals on a QL17 I received a couple of weeks ago, and I took it with me to Chinatown (NY) for the New Year's festival yesterday. I have it loaded with Tri-X 400, and I brought a Yashica Electro with some color film with me as well.
The fun part was the second looks the camera gets from other people. In particular, my g/f grabbed the camera to get a shot of me, and a couple of older Chinese women were looking at her and remarking about the camera. I had no idea what they were saying - all I understood was "cahmayrah", but it put a smile on my face. Can't wait to get the shots developed.
