Foamies on tripod legs

I forgot about this one. I took some non stick foamies(spongy foam material
sometimes used for camera seals) and wrapped them around my tripod legs
and secured them with good black electrical tape. They keep your hands warm
when using it and even tho it is thin material it does offer some padding on
your shoulder when carrying it. I did not want to put that huge pipe insulation
on this smaller Bogen Digi 719b tripod. Looks great on there too.

I have used bicycle handle bar tape to wrap the legs on my two smaller tripods, then hold the end with heat shrink-wrap (material found in electrical/electronics shop to insulate wires or cables)
You can wrap your tripod to help camo your tripod or use your favorite team colors.
