I want know if using the Ilford Multigrade IV RC, the Zone Master II can use immediately, without any calibration or test strip need.
Thanks.

With my condensor head and Ilford filters under the lens the factory calibration worked quite good.
However, if you want to take full advantage of the zonemaster capabilities, you have to adapt the calibration values to your personal real world situation (lamp, condensor, developer, lens...).

I own two condeser enlargers, the old Durts 609 with Componon 80/5.6 and the more modern Meopta Opemus 6 with Rodagon 50/4. The lamp is an alogen 150 W and my preferred developer are Rodinal and ID 11. I use the MG IV RC with the Meopta, using the VC filter in the filter holder.
