Hi all!
One question: Is the framing of a 25 mm lens comparable to the black edges "frame" of the R-D1 view finder or do I need an external 25 mm view finder? Any experiences?
Thanks!

I use the CV 25/4 on my R-D1. I set the frame lines to the 28mm lines and use those to compose, knowing fully well that much more will be in the picture.
I guess I could find a 35mm external VF somewhere sometime but for now I haven't started looking for one.

I use the 24mm Elmarit with th 28mm framelines, it's inaccurate but with a little training and both eyes open when framing I get by.

Still trying to See.
I use the full area "black edges" when I use this lens and the framing is close enough.

I use a VC 28/35 mini finder, and the 35 lines are exact for my 25 Biogon.

Thanks to all for the replies! This greatly helped me. I decided to get the Zeiss Biogon 25/2,8 ZM along with my Biogon 35/2 ZM and Planar 50/2 ZM.
