Free Evans Book available

I just came back from a trip to New Mexico. When in Santa Fe I stopped into the PhotoEye bookstore. There I bought WAlker Evans' book
"Many are Called." His Subway portraits. When I returned home I had waiting for me the exact same book that I forgot I had bought on ebay before leaving for our trip. I completely forgot I had done that.
So I have 2 copies now. It goes for about $40.00.
I'll give it away for free to whoever wants a copy.

It's a good book. I recommend pairing it with Araki's Subway Love.

I LOVE PhotoEye. I'm on their e-mailing list (one of the very few adverts I don't immediately delete) and I have purchased from them many times. I didn't know they were in Santa Fe, though. I thought they were NYC-based.

I didnt know either until we were there and, boom there it was in front of me. We also came upon a gallery that had a showing of origianl Eisenstadt photgraphs. A huge show it was. MAny photographs selling for multiple thousands. I think his photo of the sailor and girl kissing was selling for 28,000
They also had Bresonn's photo of the guy jumping the puddle for a mere $15,000.
