I happened upon a Nikon L35AF that is in pretty sad shape. I would say that it's a basket case, probably only good for parts (whatever is still good). At least the lens is clean and clear, not much else is any good, IMO.
I'm sure there may be more wrong with it, but here's a partial list :
- Film advance malfunctioning, pressing the shutter results in sporadic film advance of around 6 frames in a row, then shutter jams
- Focus indicator indicates erratic AF based on consecutive pressing of the shutter button
- Flash is stuck in down position, needs to be forced up to operate
- Viewfinder window has rub marks right smack in the middle of it resulting in an unclear view
Anyway, rather than toss it in the garbage, I was wondering if anyone needs one for parts or tinkering.
