The last few days I have been having dev. problems. After shooting some cameras from my collection so as to have some film to develop ( still learning the in and outs ) and how each thing affects another. I developed a roll and something was up with it , shot another , same thing , then two more , same thing . Buy now I was pissed and didn't know what was going on . After posting a thread in film , ( frustration showing ):bang: sorry guys, I finally got some advice from our members that fixed my problem . So after working so hard on these , everyone gets to see them .🙄

Fixer was my problem .

I have a very large collection of SLR and Rangefinders nothing really exotic but some nice examples, all working .

I know, different cameras, different films, different development times, agitation, maybe different temps, mistakes with dilutions. It goes on, I was down to one camera, one film, etc, etc., and I finally just standardized on everything until I got it. It took me a long time when I decided to branch out into another film, I still have not taken the step to a new developer, at least completely. Keep it simple, if for nothing else, but your sanity.

Thanks John , That's what I'm going to do . One dev, Tmax and Tri-x for now get it all down , then try another film and dev. I still need to play with shooting at 320-250-200 and comparing , that will keep me busy for awhile.

Do you still fish much ? Saw you pic.

Tom, not too much, but last year I took my son to Rancho Leonero in Baja, Mexico. I'll post my trip notes after I get off my dumb iPad.
