I have a Nikon varifocal II finder and case for sale. it is in very good working order with clean optics and clear markings.

It covers the focal lenghts 3.5cm 5.0cm 8.5cm 10.5cm & 13.5cm the parallax distnace scale is marked in FEET.

I got this in trade a while back and have enjoyed it but with getting the L-1 up and running I will be using those Canon finders I have that interact with the pin in the hot shoe so this guy is extra.

It does show some wear around the eyepiece and a few bright marks but all and all a nice piece the case is solid and in nice shape as well.

These command pretty high prices from dealers like Kevin cameras and such but I don't have quite that much into it.

So $175.00 + ship and insurance and I'll gladly ship anywhere.

I take Paypal and MO's

I'm adding a couple photo's here I have more if your serious.

I'm not looking for one of these, but have a question. I have the Walz clone version of this basic design. It has a very strong negative diopter when the zoom is around 100mm. You have to focus your eyes to like a foot (which I really can't do anymore) to see infinity at that zoom. Does the Nikon one behave similarly?

While I like the way the image doesn't get tiny with these zoom finders at 90mm and 135mm, the negative diopter is a bummer. I also do like the sharp frame on the Imarect, and it's not hopelessly small at 90mm. (But the Imarect is pretty ridiculous at 135mm...)

John As far as I can tell and I only have my eyes to do any testing with I have no probelm using htis at any focal lenght setting. it does seam to be slightly less sharp at the 135mm setting then the 50mm setting but not so as to effect being able to quickly aquire a shot.
