I've been thinking about one myself. I also shoot a 500c along with my m-series, just want something in medium format which is easier to pack around.

I cant recommend the Zi enough. It has become my (almost), every day camera. Used with Kodak 400UC and Kodak 160NC with flash, its just a superb camera with superb resolution and contrast. If you enjoy outdoor landscape and/or outdoor shots with fill flash - this is THE camera to own....sync at every speed...its just a great camera....
