I don't go to Sam's that often. I do get a comp membership thru work, but I admit it's been months since I've been there. It's tres zooey and none of them around here are convenient to me. Oh well, anyway ...

This morning I dropped in on the one that's not too far from my Sunday "Breakfast Club" thing, and of course I checked out film, paper, and ink prices. Surprise! No green boxes! At all! TONS of yellow boxes, all 200 Gold and 400 Max (no 400 UC) and megapiles of single-use yellow disposables, even some Polaroid instant film, but NO FUJI!

Is it gone? From Sams's that is?

On the bright side they did have Ilford Galerie glossy at a good price so I picked up a couple of them. :)

No type 38 inkjet carts for the new 9180 printer. Did I expect to find them, {expletive} NO! Am I holding by breath? :) :)

I've been a Sams member for 3 years and have never seen Fuji at any location. I even asked the manager at the photo lab at Sams why do you sell Fuji at Walmarts & not Sams Clubs? He said it was a contract agreement with Kodak.

I know I've bought Fuji at Sams before, but not in the recent past. I seldom go there. This had to be 2000 or after, since that's when I got the Sams membership.

I wouldn't doubt that at all. I do know that Kodak made a sweetheart deal with Walgreens back in 2005 to sell Kodak as their only name-brand film. Fuji did pull a good touche' by becoming the new maker of their house-brand film, however. :)
