Hi all,
I recently took a road trip from the cold dry Wisconsin, to the very hot and humid New Orleans and brought my GS645S (the widish one with the 60mm and roll bar). I found it to be a great camera, but a couple days into the trip after leaving the humid South, I noticed fungus beginning to form in the lens. I realize now that I should have been more careful with it, especially while camping. Oh well. Anyway does anyone have any instructions on how to open this bad boys lens assembly up? I see that there is 2 spanner wrench spot, one in back and one on front of the lens. I attempted to turn the front multiple times, but it ends up slipping out and I'm afraid I'm doing it wrong and will result in scratching the lens. I could not find a repair guide anywhere online for the camera, only an owner manual.
Yours truly
Adam
