I can see them on on the web but the sites are all in Japanese.

There's a Natura Classica and Classica NS which both seem to be 28mm lens.

Then there's a Natura S in various colours with a 24mm lens.

I cannot see them on eBay. Are they Japan market only? Does anybody have any information about these cameras, and the associated Natura ISO1600 film?

I think someone here bought one, there was a topic about them some time back. Apparently its not a bad camera, but not enough manual controls if I remember correctly. Someone tested the 1600 film on another website and it looked just like what it sounds like... 1600 ISO color film = very grainy, colors not so hot...

I think Raid has the Natura S in the black version. There's a slightly different version of the Natura S available in different colors (looks like the lens mount is slightly different too, although that could be a trick of the photo I saw), and there is the Classica which has a 28-56mm zoom lens.

You can buy them at http://www.unicircuits.com/shop/, but there isn't a lot of information on camera specs there.

The special mode works for all 1600 and 3200 DX-coded films - so if you shoot B&W, no need to bother with their colour 1600. Just pop in TMax or Delta 3200, or Neopan 1600.

Mine is the Natura Black; it's not just the color but it is a different model that costs a little more. The lens is a 24mm/1.9 and the camera is AF and automatic with a plus/minus 0.5,1,1.5,2 exposure control.

Natura looks like a decent camera. Nice fast glass for a P&S.

Celluloidprop . . . your commandments. . . 🙄

I don't have the email receipt right in front of me but I think it was $315 total.

EDIT: Nope, it was $306.

I sold mine because of the very poor viewfinder. It flared and was blurry. I thought of putting a voigtlander/cosina 24 viewfinder on top (velcro), but sold on ebay it to ease my camera burden.

I believe you can order thru Amazon Japan to ship to US.
If 1 dollar is 116.5 yen, that's $245 plus shipping, not bad.
One just released (3-3-06) is the Natura Classica, for Y$33,000 w 28-56 2.8-5.4, since it was just released, the dealer may likely to sell them at suggested retail.
For film camera fan, these two cameras are called 'winners'.

If compare to SLR these viewfinders are ok, a tiny camera w all these features selling $260 w S-EBC Fujunon 24/1.9 what do you expect? SLR viewfinders viewed thru the multicoated lens, flares, bright lights was filtered thru the lens. Just fire away have fun and see what you got...

I hardly ever look through the viewfinder with candid shots anyways. The new Classica model also sounds cool, but I prefer the 24mm/1.9 lens.

Taiwan NT$9,500 is about $289, so not too out of line.
This is a Japan only camera, so the in camera manu, book manual are all in Japanese, it's ok for Taiwan/China because most of the time Japanese use Kanji( means Chinese characters) in menu.

Dirk has dropped his price to about $280. If I could find a use for it (and oh it's tempting to make that an all Delta3200 all the time machine), I think I'd order from him to support a small business providing a good service to all of us without a line to Fuji's non-US products.
