Hey all.
I've shot quite a bit of Provia 400X lately after shooting almost exclusively with Astia and 400F for years. The ten or so rolls I got back of the 400X seemed a little under exposed to me. Much was taken with a flash but all things being equal, they did seem a little muddy compared to what I'm used to.

Has anyone else thought 400X might be better pulled slightly? Shot maybe a third stop slower?
Cheers, all.

Did you use TTL flash exposure, based on measuring the reflected light of the film? If so, the results will depend on the reflection properties (bright vs dark, but also colour) of the film. This can be as much as a stop.

In the end, if ISO 320 gives you the results you want, set ISO 320. I can't see a problem here.
