Fuji raw and adobe LR sharpening techniques

There are other differences in LR 5 workflow for optimizing XTrans and Bayer renderings.

A small change in the color temperature parameter can eliminate fringing on high contrast edges. Anyone who finds outlining of objects against a bright blue sky can solve this problem by care adjustment of the color temperature.

If a sky region is a bit overexposed it will appear to have a cyan cast, This is easily remedied by using the HSL parameters for cyan and blue. In my experience it can be useful to slightly overexposed sky in order to improve shadow-region SNR. I estimate about this trick can be good for 1/3 to 1/2 stop of DR. This technique also works for NEF raw, but not as well.

The Clarity parameter behaves differently compared to Bayer raw for some XTrans images as well.

The Defringing parameter can improve XTrans rendering of pink/magenta regions. I never saw this behavior for Bayer raw.

Often XTrans greensrenders more cleanly when its Luminance parameter is lowered. The cyan HSL parameters are often useful to get the most out of some green subjects as well.

I find using the XTrans camera profiles is helpful compared to the default LR 5 camera profile.

It's odd to me that people never complained about using different capture sharpening to get the most out of the M8 or M9 raw since those cameras don't have AA filters. Yet differences in workflow XTrans are a horrible imposition to some.
