Any word on a shipping date in the US?

Nothing yet, Fuji's apparently been mum to everyone but the Japanese retailers and some Romainians...

Yes, well part of the point of the post is that they had firm US prices as well, which is still absent from Precision Cameras.
If you live outside Texas, order from Precision Camera and don't pay sales tax, which is real money when you considering cost of cameras and lenses.

+1 for supporting businesses that support my interests.
Also, not paying sales tax is sweet.

Three and a half grand for the body and three lenses .... if this thing works and doesn't have too many quirks with the interface and focusing etc they'll sell a sh!tload!
Canon and Nikon will be watching ... and scheming.

Christian, is there any discount on the XPro 35/1.4 kit listed on the Precision Camera website?
That kit may not exist. I think they took a guess and listed a kit just so people would have a lens for the body.

Possibly, as Fuji has yet to make a US price official, there is no way for us to know at this time.

An unsavory proposition, but a possibility at this time. Hopefully Fuji makes something official on their US distribution plans soon.

Now that no kit was anounced will a pre-order for the kit still get one a body and the 35mm kit... just at a price of $2299.98? Meaning will orders have to be changed again?

We are about to email everyone individually, but that appears to be case. Since we were not taking full deposits and only partial the orders will not have to change because of the price. We'll be letting everyone know that we will still honor their place in line for the kit, with the option to let us know within a week if you want a different lens from the 35mm. If we do not receive word, we will assume the order stands for the 35mm kit and aquire stock for that. This does open up the possibility of an intro kit being any lens combo rather than only the 35mm, but it is slightly disappointing that they chose not to offer a discounted kit purchase for a new proprietary mount...
