fuji XS-10 anyone?

The x-t3 is on clear out; same price as the new x-s10. Would get the x-t3 for the much bigger viewfinder! And weather sealing...

Looks like a derivative 'me too' kind of mirrorless to me.

Well pronounced, but too advanced for me to get it statement. :)
Since 2009 I'm familiar with metooism syndrome on gear forums.

I'm with DPReview for opinion on this camera.
It is overpriced camera for Canon Rebel market with fake Nikon SLR entourage.

999 USD for camera which mimics consumer SLR is lousy achievement to me.

My full frame, weather sealed and compact RP is same price and it allows true and classic SLR use. With original SLR lenses and uncropped images.
So, it is much closer to original film SLR which never has IBIS :)

Got it, like it. The grip is comfy and support larger lenses well. Love the regular custom settings as seen on all other mainstream cameras - thank god it's no longer for "image quality" only. I have the C1 setting for Program + AF-S with 3x3 zone focus, C2 for wide tracking + AF-C + facial recognition + continuous drive, C3 for MF + aperture priority at f/8, and C4 for flash. I can go on fine tuning all the options as I shoot more. So far it's been smooth. One click with the mode dial without looking and I know exactly what the camera is doing. No need to constantly fiddle with the all the dials and buttons and switches and sometimes the menu items to adapt to different scenarios (and dial them back afterwards!) anymore.

They packed all the latest tricks in so performance wise it holds well against the X-T4. Very little complaint except perhaps it doesn't use the latest high-capacity battery pack, but again I've accumulated a small mountain of OEM and third party NP-W126 batteries over the years of on and off with Fuji to keep the juice flowing. I'm fine with the EVF. The X-T2 and G9 I used to own had amazingly large viewfinders but the 2.36M dot OLED one of the X-S10 isn't flawed or anything like the field sequence ones that were ubiquitous a couple years ago. Perfectly usable.

It might seem like a boring camera, but it's a well done one at a very reasonable price IMO.

ah, understood...

i should say that i'm also thinking of selling my 90 and maybe the 14 and putting it towards the new 18/1.4...so many choices too many bad knees!

I don't have any interest. I have the X-H1 as my IBIS camera and prefer it. I like a dedicated shutter speed dial. Also, I just have enough 24-26mp sensor Fuji cameras. My next move is a GFX-50R. I want to use a 4:3 format instead of 2:3...

i like the idea of the ibis and it's supposed to be better than the H body...i probably need to trim more than add more gear to my setup.
the x100v is killing all motivation to use any other of my gear as it's just so perfect in so many ways.

The XS-10 is not for me either, simply because I have the IBIS X-H1, which is a great camera. I have also eyed the medium format GFX-50R for some time but will not pull the trigger until the sensor is updated and IBIS is included in the package. Cheers, OtL

I think most of us here would still use the X-S10 and smaller Fuji lenses over the RP. To each his own.
