I really am happy that Zeiss started making all different mount lenses for us to play with. I love cross compatibility! But....is there a mount out there that you wish Zeiss would make their lenses available in?
Personally I would love to see Zeiss Canon EF mount lenses. Manual focus of course which is no problem with the interchangeable focus screens such as the ones in the 5D. I think they wouldn't even have to go the all out Canon electronic way. Keep the lenses just about the same but instead of the mechanical iris control I am sure they could figure out some simple electronic contact system so we wouldn't have to do stop down shooting. I really love my canon 50 1.4 but its built like a house of cards. I have no doubt that it will stop working sometime within the next year, and also for manual focusing it sucks, that focus ring has absolutely no practical use whatsoever. Not to mention the fact that mine, you have to push the inner lens assembly up a little while its focusing or it just hangs...
Imagine the possibilities! Now if someone would kick Leica in the ass to do this too.
