Hi all,
I asked this question on my other thread, but need more responses.
when I my roof today and adjusted the rangefinder and it looks really
good focuses on the dot, but when I look at things closer than about
5 feet it's hard for me to see the image it kinda blurry. I do wear glasses
(I'm nearsighted), I have new frames now so when I look at things close
I have to take them off, So all you Nikon loving eyeglass wearing guy's,
do you guy's have any problems, oh I'm going to pop the hood on this
guy tomorrow to do further cleaning to see if it gets better.

Thanks

We both have the same issue -- nearsighted. That's your problem. HOWEVER, there is a great solution for the S2 -- I helped Dirk beta test this -- and I have two of them on both of my S2's:

It's an adapter that elegantly attaches to the S2 viewfinder ring. You can then use a Leica diopter eyepiece - I use +.5 correction to get nice crisp images when looking through the viewfinder -- works like a charm - allows me to focus very accurately... You can also use other Leica threaded adapters, too - like a magnifier, etc...

Hope this helps -- the S2 is a wonderful camera. Have fun!
