If any members are looking for brand new 35mm stainless steel reels made by Hewes, they are being sold under the name Tundra by Omega/Satter as "PRO 140 PDR 35" UPC Code "5366100644"
it's confusing because it's got so many names, but it is Omega Tundra 35mm Professional Stainless Steel Reel.
on the front of the box in the lower right corner it says "contents manufactured in England."
but more importantly, stamped onto the "W" shaped film prong welded onto the reel core are the words:
HEWES
BRITISH MADE
also on the omega satter website, the very last line says they are made by Hewes.

so at the time of this writing, these reels purchased in April 2008 through b&h photo video for $30 USD (ouch!) each, are really Hewes reels.
