Don't like the looks of it. The waist belt is not padded/constructed, it will cut into your stomach and sides and be unstable. Looks too large to me to be a waist belt. Lowepro makes some that are good.

Some of my older type bags look like these. They're good for large cameras. I now go for slimmer bags for RF and mft kits.

One of my all time favorite camera bags is by Galen Rowell.
He was an active mountain climber, so he designed these bags to be very practical for use. The camera bags open towards the side of the person and not away from the person. The bags are sturdy but very light, compared with other classical bags by Tenba or similar.

Yep, Galen was an accomplished mountaineer and these bags look fine to me. Similar to my Domke bag and hold an unbelievable amount of stuff. I need a more elegant bag like the Billingham Pro for certain gigs but funds are not going to be available for awhile, so I will soldier on with the Domke.
If I were in the market for another waist bag, this looks like a terrific bag at a reasonable price.
That being said, I believe Galen had some nice (small) waist/fanny bags too. Just wonder what brand those were....

I've seen this bag at the Mountain Light Gallery in Bishop, CA. It's pretty large, and it looks like a camera bag. But if you need something to carry a lot of gear, it may be just the ticket.

Rowell designed a small chest pack for carrying a camera and an extra lens while hiking or climbing w/ a pack, but I've never seen it in stores or online. The only bags that Mountain Light have at the store (at least that I've seen) are the large shoulder and waist bags.
