Hey, could someone tell me how to make the photo selections so that they show up as links? I'd love to participate, thanks.

Sure!
1. Copy the URL of the image you'd like to point to.
2. In the Reply window (your post to this thread), in the top menu area, click on the icon of the world with a chain link.
3. The pop-up window prompts you to enter the URL. Paste the URL you copied in step 1.
4. Click OK

You can also type a word(s) (for example the image title) and select the word before step 2. Then the follow steps 3 and 4 to put the link on the image title. For example, here is the link to the Gallery.

🙂

I never do step 2. Just paste the URL in the window and the system makes it a clicky.

🙂 Yes that'll work, but the icon method is more "forward-looking." 🙂 Like teaching someone how to fish as opposed to giving them a fish. 🙂 🙂

Thanks - will do better next time.

Thanks - will do better next time.

That wasn't too hard, I'll do better next time. There are so many great photos in the gallery .Thanks. Ray this is a wonderful idea to highlight the photos and have people select them.

I've just found this thread - I obviously need to check the forum more often!

Thanks to those of you that chose one of my images, I'm quite humbled as there are some fantastic photos posted on this site every day.

I'll select my favourites when I get a moment - I'm at work at the right now!

This is such a good idea for a thread, is it possible to make it a sticky ( if thats the right term ) so that its easy to find.

To make it easier Ray suggested to add the photos to the "Your favourites" folder; so, when it comes to monday you only have to pic or choose among those photos. Hope I've been clear 😱 ...
Ciao 🙂

Yes, I keep 'My Favorites' for candidates for this thread day to day and then make a final selection on Monday too.

I also open up a text editor on a Monday and type the photo details in there, and paste in the URL's, so when this thread appears later in the day it's a copy/paste into the reply box here.
