It seems like it's always a good week with this thread. Here's mine:
ferider, I like this most for it's composition, and the color isn't all that shabby either. Well done.
photony texas, Your double exposures keep getting better and better, as seen here.
Keith, Great, it's got a real 3D look to it.
Martini, A great shot to teach the concept of "Learning How to See".
Mlehrman, This can definitely be classified as a "Great Catch", it makes me consider all kinds of questions about it. Everything about it is a 10.
StefanJozef, Looks a bit like Alfred Hitchcock, at least in the thumbnail. I had to open it to be sure. It still kind of resembles him with the pouty lip.
Tuna, Top notch for it's scale and proportion, it also works good in color.

In most weekly choices, B&W picks are dominant. So far, color picks are dominant here.

thanks ferider, Luigi and Jim for mentioning my photos.
my favourite BW images for the week
haempe - I love the grain and the movement and feeling of a live event
StefanJozef - S13. Strong and interesting portrait, unusual viewpoint, focus separation
Semrich - autograph. Lovely light and portrait of a famous photographer. I also liked the Chimper photo.
Dazedgoneby - Edward Robert McKinney. The fallen soldiers fade out of focus, like the memories of them over time. I like the framing and selective focus, and tonality.
Ezzie - Through the trees looms a palace. Sympathetic framing and beautiful toning with Neopan400+Caffenol
Tuna - This just grabbed my attention the moment I saw it - composition and tonal control in black & white
nksdks - Leda. delightful - and strong-willed!
Luigi - Les autres_02. A slice of daily life with a Rollei 35, one gets the impression every day is just like this one.
my favourite colour images for the week
Brainwood - Field edge. I like the painterly light, colour and tonality
freeranger - magical light, colour, atmosphere
mto'brien - orphium bell 1. Great expression, colour - could be a painting. I also liked the orphium bell 2 photo.
Tony Pio - Critici. One of those wonderful moments when all the expressions are priceless
