i have this whole in the shade in the tuileries thing going on in my head when i see this. it's great. i like the choice of exposure too.

i love everything about this photo. the delicious grain. the conversational almost-3/4 angle. the moment of stillness that feels like it could be just about to move. the gorgeous background, with the tree that anchors it. the soft light. her sweater. and her hair, both blonde and straight, is a capping (ha) unexpected detail.
