Bepo by Dotur -
He has the look of reminiscence that, from my experience, becomes stronger as the grappa disappears. My favourite, right down to the absurdly large looking teacup and the book lined shelves.
In The Sun by Luiman -
Great use of the shapes and figures available. The column piercing through the pitch black shadow like that is wonderful and is echoed slightly by the final womans face lifted to the same heavens. Good fortune has us stumble across lifes scenes but it really does take the heart, mind and eye of the photographer to make the final image.
I'm a gambling man by Carole Dame -
This certainly appears to be the moment when the viewer sees the story in a single frame. Looks to me like the lad on the right has just discovered he's been 'played' by the all too cute looking child on the right.
*** by Arvay -
Everything is very precise, organised and accounted for but with a deft and subtle touch that gives this such a natural feel.

lynnb - I really like the close cropping on this shot, the reflections and the almost by chance self reflection of the shooter.

There is something indefinable about this photo.
Perhaps it's the vulnerability of the woman in a sterile man-made environment. I certainly like the form of the road markings contrasting with the upright woman. I love the subtle colouring - just the hint.

Thank you very much Keith, Richard, and Luigi, for the mentions.
Sometimes it's hard to get it down to, oh, fewer than 20 images, because there are too many strong ones. I think I'm being profligate, but then I think that ten images would be like 2% of the images of the week, and that's not a lot. So, here's my list.
