Gals and liters (Diafine)

I've received recently Diafine and now I would like to start using it... The question is about gallons: I suppose that Diafine refers to US Gals (3.79 liters) instead UK Gals (4.5 liters)... am I right?

Thanks and sorry for silly question but I wouldn't feel happy if I ruin it.
