Hi group - I just bought myself an older Dimage Dual Scan II yesterday for $80. I'd certainly have liked something able to scan at a higher resolution, but for $80, it's a good start. Now, the issue is with print sizes. At 300ppi, I can print maybe 9x13. Not great, really. If I want to print at say 11x17, what are my options? I can get around in Photoshop but am no expert. The guy who sold me the Dimage (also had a Coolscan 9000 for sale for $1300 or so) had an unopened copy of Genuine Fractals that he'd sell, but I didn't know much about it. Any thoughts about this or something I could do in PS easily?

Well, it's better than photoshop's standard resizing, but it isn't magic. If you want to print larger, there's really only getting larger source files.
Of course, this is all the opinion of someone who only prints very rarely.
