Mike Haley in Ukraine has just bought a 1958 Kiev 4 with 3a body from a tech at the Arsenal factory , he also has an instruction manual showing it .
It seems that there is little info about this interim version , it can't just have been using up old parts because the Kiev 3a ran with the Kiev 4 until around 1960 .
So my Enigma-to-be has credentials !
