Since M cameras got live view, I have used a Zeiss Makro (60mm C or 100mm Makros for the Contax SLRs first, and Nikon F mount 50mm f2 or 100mm f2 Makros more recently with adapters) to get closer than regular M lenses can focus. But these lenses are big and bulky, and particularly on the M10M the older Zeiss Contax lenses were showing their optical shortcomings fairly obviously. Has anyone tried the Macro Adapter M https://leica-store.com.au/products/14652 or the Elpro https://leica-store.com.au/products/14125 ? These are a lot lighter than one lens, let alone two, and would get me pretty close with 50, 75 or longer lenses, but I’d like to see some real world results. What lenses have you tried, and how did it go?
