I started experimenting with Ilford SFX200 in my desert shots because I was always having trouble getting the trees to glow a bit with other films. These shots are on Mamiya 6, Hoya R72 filter at EI 12. Developed in Ilfosol 3 for 6 minutes @ 20C.
I think I fogged the film when I loaded it into the stainless tank - the film base is slightly grey. I was reasonably happy with the Wood effect on the acacia trees. Negatives look a bit grainy - is this normal / any tips for reducing grain? Other evelopment / exposure experience? Does anyone know if IR film is more susceptible to X ray machines? I think I will persist with this film, especially in the desert.
Cheers
