What brand of adapters do you all recommend, some are low prices & others are $269.00 for an M mount. Someone said the cheap ones do not focus well at infinity. I need a good M mount & a good Contax G mount. Help me with what works well for you. Thanks

I use the Voigtlander Leica M/Micro 4/3 lens adaptor. Brand new they run $179.00, you will also find them used for less. You can then mount the Leica Screw (LTM) mount to the M mount adapter for older Leitz and Voigtlander lens. New the adaptor runs $59.00, and often for sale used for less.

You can purchase directly from Steve @ Cameraquest: http://www.cameraquest.com/adaptnew.htm

BTW, I have several Leica & Voigtlander M & LTM mount lenses where I use the Voigtlander adaptors to mount on my GF1 and never have had any problems.

For the Contax G I have used both the Monza adaptor and the Metabones. The Monza adaptor is a side wheel version.Information can be found here: http://contaxgm43.wordpress.com/2010/04/13/15/ Price is $ 159.00 new and once again you can find them used.

The Metabones adaptor runs $111.00 and has more of an outer ring focus wheel. The person who sells them is Lasjas and his email address is (Email: lasjashk@hotmail.com) If you mention you are a member of the Mu-4/3.com forum he gives the discounted price of $105.00 plus $6 for shipping. You can search on ebay and his prices will be higher. On the GetDPI forum there is a thread with 17 pages of comments on adaptors. http://forum.getdpi.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11575&page=17
BTW, I have both the 45/2 and90/2.8 Contax G lenses.

Sample photos taken with non-micro 4/3 lenses can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26672618@N03/sets/

I bought the expensive Panasonic adapter and found it worth the money after having seen the cheaper types at my dealer.
