Just received my Fuji GF670 today and found time to shoot and scan a roll or two. I shot two rolls of TMY-2 and a roll of Ektar 120 - I didn't have time to soup the Ektar, but I did find time to develop the TMY and scan a frame or two.
1. The camera does feel very light in the hands - almost flimsy... but build quality feels fine.
2. Viewfinder is excellent - very good eye relief (it appears to use the same screw in diopters as the Zeiss Ikon), bright and contrasty patch and easy to see framelines.
3. Very intuitive to use - just as well, as the Fuji edition only comes with a Japanese manual and my knowledge of Japanese is limited to Hamachi and such...
4. The shutter is incredibly quiet - it's like half the Mamiya 7 which itself has a very quiet shutter.
5. BIzarrely, the actual image size is at least 1mm (maybe 1.5mm - I'll measure tomorrow) smaller in each direction than the Mamiya 7!
I did a quick and dirty resolution test on the roll of TMY-2 shot in flat light and got a number of about 50lp/mm - film limited by the looks of things and encouraging enough to get some of the the Rollei Techpan into the camera tomorrow to get more accurate numbers. The lens looks to be very sharp. It also appears to have a pleasing out of focus rendition, but I'll need more time to do some comparisons and tests around my these impressions. I made a number of shots wide open and the rangefinder on my camera appears to be very accurate and repeatble (despite the short baselengh design).
Here are two sample shots - these are scanned on a Minolta Scan Multi Pro. The snap of my daughter was at f4 at about 1 meter. The crop shows a 2inch square crop from a 16x20inch print.
The second snap with detail crop was at f8.
