Ghadaffi's Cute Lil Car

It's no Contax or Nikon - they never had a model big enough to house a full grown dictator with umbrella. Might be a Leica, I'm not that familiar with all their versions, but I've never seen one as big as that.

This is RFF, and apart from our resident Land Rover owners, the car nuts (at least those nutty enough to identify a car that has been puzzling the world press for a few days) seem to be elsewhere.
 
Based on his preference for cute lil cars, I think Ghadaffi is not a big camera person. He's definitely a small P&S guy.

Cameras like rangefinders and SLRs that makes him focus on his subjects ... no no :bang:. Just simple and brutish point AND ... shoot :eek:. A little Canon perhaps that also allows for low light, late into the night shooting.

See ... still camera talk. :D

Somebody out there must know what is that car? A Fiat maybe? :confused:
 
Joke aside, our newsroom guys suspect him to be in some mine or bunker underground hideout, based upon that very industrial utility (and not at all armoured limo) looking vehicle. If we assume it to be something of that kind, we might have to check up with mining equipment makers rather than car factories.
