I used to be a Holga user and processed my own 120 bw. I used a jury-rigged device on my flat bed photo scanner for the negs but gave it all up eventually. I have good digis for my regular (hobby) shooting. I miss the simplicity/silliness of the Holga but did not want to spend $$$ on a MF scanner.
I decided to get a simple contact printer and make contact 8x10 sheets and develope the sheets as well as the film. If I am diligent I should get usable 6x6mm prints which I can use as-is or scan as a photo.
I'd appreciate any comments or advice.
Thanks.

I started out making contact prints by the light of a bare bulb with a piece of scrap glass to hold down the negs. I was hooked - leading to an enlarger on the bathtub, then the laundry room and finally in a real darkroom. Be careful or you too may find yourself hooked. Better not to get started so as to prevent the addiction.

Yeah, I caught myself looking at enlargers on eBay.
Thanks.

Whilst I've seen some excellent results from scanning negatives, post-processing them and printing them digitally, I have got the best results from wet printing personally.
It's very enjoyable and I find a good way to unwind at the end of the day to just work away for a couple of hours making a few prints, very good fun
